April 29th International Sculpture Day 2023

Celebrating IS Day April 29th, 2023, You are invited to join other PNWS Members crafting Wearable Art at SCRAP (1736 SW Alder street, Portland). We’ll be bringing our creations out to several locations in downtown after using the classroom/workspace at SCRAP, between 4;30 and 6;30pm. You are encouraged to bring a plan or work in progress to complete during our time at SCRAP. There will be plenty of cheap and quirky art materials available. RSVP Bob Deasy or Andy Kennedy

Coming to the Southeast Portland’s Goat Blocks in early summer

Hopscotch, an interactive art installation, is set to take up a 23,000-square-foot space in Southeast Portland’s Goat Blocks. Raku on the beach

We glazed and Raku fired over 70 marine figures last weekend at Longview, WA. My neighbor decided to celebrate his birthday by making Ocean creatures for his friends to glaze and fire. We used a traveling art studio van for the glazing and braved the weather for the firing. Next stop, Newport!
