Proposals for public art are being sought as part of the Port of Vancouver’s
Terminal 1 development and revitalization plan along the Vancouver waterfront. The plan includes two large exterior murals, an interior art gallery, an open-air installation, and site signage with storytelling opportunities. October 21-22, 2023
Washington County Open Studios Tour is a free event that takes place simultaneously at fifty different different locations within Washington County in the third week of October. Open studios 2023 will be on October 21st and 22nd. To participate as a visitor simply show up at any of the locations during tour hours, no ticket is required.
Here is the list of artists and galleries that will be participating in Open Studios 2023.
We also have a second tour format called online studios. Online Studios 2023 is intended for artists who are unable to or would prefer not to have visitors in their home. We have taken professional videos of the selected artists in their studios. We have now released the first five of those videos and you can see them here.
Nov. 4-5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Clark County Open Studios Tour is a free self-guided tour as local artists open their studios to the public and share how, why, and where their art is created. This is a unique opportunity to visit artists and artisans, view diverse works, and buy pieces specifically created or made available for this event.
Be sure to check and see members that have signed up so far Mary Grout and Bill Leigh will have open studios.

In honor of our twenty-fifth anniversary, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art 700 State St, Salem, OR 97301 will offer free admission for the entire month.
The Hallie Ford Museum of Art opened its doors for the first time in October 1998, and over the past quarter century has built an encyclopedic collection of Western and non-Western art and has mounted a dazzling array of temporary exhibitions intended to instruct, inspire, and delight. Over the years, the development of the permanent collection has been guided by Hallie Ford Museum of Art staff and its faculty curators, as well as by the generosity, vision, and largesse of its many donors and patrons.
