Hi PNWS members! I’m Teri Fahrendorf and my husband is Jon Graber. We are hosting the August 17 member meeting, with Jon giving the ice carving demo.
I have an idea for a great educational opportunity for PNWS members who work with clay, like I do…
I recently purchased some clay & clay sculpture-focused training videos from Domestika and Ceramic Arts Network. I can stream these online any time. However, I’d like to share the opportunity with you, my PNWS friends. Therefore, I’ve made a plan to host “Technique Tuesdays” in my backyard. Screenings will show the evenings of August 6, 13, 20 and 27. If you all dig it, I may extend screenings through September, as the weather allows.
Videos will be projected to a screen from my laptop. Please eat first, or bring your brown bag dinner. BYO beverage and popcorn to consume, or share. Also, bring your notebook if desired.
If you are interested in attending at all, please email me your email address and cell number. You will receive my home address in a return email, so please put me in your address book so my email to you doesn’t bounce.
RSVP: potter@raindragonstudio.com
My goal is to email the name of the Course/Technique with a link to the Domestika or Ceramic Arts Network video description on Mondays, so you can plan ahead for the next day. I will want you to please RSVP YES or NO each time, so I have a rough idea of how many camp chairs to put out on our small lawn.
Please arrive on time, or quietly join the group in process!
This is an experimental idea, so some modification may occur during the month. By joining my email list for this, you will stay informed of any modifications, if any should occur.

Also, no pets or children please. I want the focus to be on the video and any resultant discussion. Pets and children distract from that, no matter how nice and well-behaved you think they are. Very sorry!
