Formerly the Troutdale Art & Music Festival, this upcoming event includes a weekend of raku ceramics firing, demo opportunities and a great space for educating the public about sculpture and Pacific NW Sculptors in particular.

Board Member Russ Ford and his raku partner Nathan Lacquaye of Kadence Collective in Vancouver, WA will once again bring mobile raku firing to an appreciative audience.

“This year we were able to involve the local community in advance, so they’re more personally engaged in the process,” says Russ Ford. “Marlena Nielsen did a fabulous job setting up mask-making workshops in Troutdale, and we’re hoping Mt. Hood Community College sculpture students also take part in the firing.”
Volunteers are needed to help set up the booth, assist with raku firing, demonstrate other types of sculpture and provide information about our organization.
To volunteer, please get in touch with Leslie Crist, president@pnwsculptors.org.
