Home & Garden Show 2025

February 20nd – 23rd  

EXPO Center – Portland

The Home Builders Association, who manages this show, has again invited PNWS members to show and sell their art during this event.  Last year there were over 50,000 attendees to this event. This year we have a very large space, 100 by 30 to use as our gallery. There will be two areas to support student entries from Mount Hood Community College and Pacficic Northwest College of Art. The plan is to feature a wide range of exceptional sculptures from our membership, with both freestanding and wall pieces encouraged.  We look forward to seeing sculptures that best express the strength and spirit of your personal creative vision, style, and commitment to quality.  The goals for the show range from education for the public, gaining more members, providing a safe place to learn how to talk about our art to strangers and sell. Last year we increased our membership and sold several pieces.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Submissions available for PNWS members only
    • $35 for up to three pieces
    • Yes, you can submit more than three as the cost is per three.
  • Sculptures may be in any medium
  • Artists receive 60% of your sales and 40% goes to PNWS general fund and show expenses
    • Volunteer for booth duty, setup or take down to receive 70% of your sales
  • Payment, to artists, for all sales will be completed within 30 days
  • Hanging wall-sculptures may not exceed 25 lbs., and must be hanging ready with hardware
  • Artwork will be juried
  • Submit up to 3 jpeg images for each artwork at 1.5MB to 5MB in size label images with:  your last name_title.jpeg -example:  SmithEntry1.jpeg.
    •  Keep images sharp and with limited background as for possible use in show media

SHOW TIMELINE

Submissions Open:  December 15, 2024  

Firm deadline for entry, jpeg images included: 

January 25th, 2025, 5PM   

  • Setup booth date and time
      • Tuesday, February 18th, 2024, 8 AM- Noon
  • Delivery date for artwork to show:
    • Tuesday, February 18th, 2024, Noon-10 PM
    • Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, 8 AM -10 PM

Opening Evening Reception:  TBD       

Show Dates:  February 20nd through February 23rd 

  • Artwork Pick-Up:  Sunday, February 23rd, 2024
    • 5PM through 10PM
    • Monday, February 24th, 2024
      • 8AM through 5PM
