Mylin and Ford

David Mylin and I are sharing the gallery floor at The Cave Gallery artatthecave.com through the month of March. Opening is on First Friday, March 4. David and I work mostly with figurative concepts but from a very different materials perspective. Months ago, we decided to collaborate on a number of pieces for this show. David’s metalwork and my ceramics did indeed find a way to meld in a number of artworks. Our challenge was not just to combine, but to honor the art and artistry of each other’s work. Was it hard? Yes. Was it fun? Yes.

it has been a wonderfully freeing feeling to be able to engage in this way after a long isolation. I especially want to share with my fellow sculptors at PNWS.
