SEPTEMBER MEETING – SAT SEP 20 at 3:00 PM
The September potluck will be hosted by new member Caroline (Carrie) Allen at her yurt art studio in Estacada. Carrie is a novelist, painter, and relatively new to sculpture. CarolineAllenArt.com
The walk through the woods to the yurt is 350 feet and is relatively flat. Carrie is planning on setting up a painting activity for anyone interested in joining in. A pop-up tent will be beside the yurt for food.
Members are invited to bring a significant other or invite other sculptors as potential members.
Update: There MAY be a special presentation of a member’s commissioned work to the Estacada City Manager. Shhh!
We are encouraging members to invest in a potluck mess kit, in order to minimize landfill. This idea was lifted from Oregon Potters Association. Click here for an example of a one-person mess kit. We will also plastic utensils and paper plates on hand.

WHEN: Saturday, September 20, 2025
TIME: 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM
WHERE: Near Metzler Park in Estacada. (Exact address will be emailed to members only, prior to the meeting.) Please look out for a sandwich board at the turnoff to Carrie’s driveway that says “Art”. The driveway is very long and gravel — so please drive slowly. You’ll come to a sign to park in the grass to the right. After parking, follow signs to walk to the yurt on the left. More info on this nearer to the time.
