Dream Boy

Two sons, a husband, 4 brothers, and a challenge led me to create Dream Boy.  He sits in the tree in front of our house, on the corner of 37th and Alberta Court.  My friend’s twin grandsons posed for me.  Then I made Dream Boy in out of clay in 4 pieces at the Multnomah Arts Center — head, torso to waist, shorts and bent leg, and the leg that reaches through the tree.  When the center closed down due to COVID Dream Boy was in a kiln for several months.  Dream Boy has been featured in several local newspapers and he remains the joy of many a passerby.
