PNWS has had an active role in Art in the Pearl, a popular, (Named one of the top 10 Arts and Crafts Festivals in the country) Labor Day weekend celebration in the North Park Blocks of Portland, for many years.
Our members have taken the opportunity to represent our organization by showing sculptural work and methods of construction to the public in the covered booth area of the show reserved for demonstrations.
Although no work may be sold through the demonstration booths, it is a great way for members to showcase their work, develop contacts or advertise classes. It is also a wonderful way to participate, work alongside fellow members and support the public education of our media.
PNWS members can sign up for two hour slots on Saturday, September 2nd, 10am- 6pm, Sunday, September 3rd, 10-6 or Monday, September 4th 10-4.
