Kadence Art Cooperative at 214 E McLoughlin Blvd,Vancover, 98663 has recently opened and will be the site for a PNWS gathering for a sculpture swap meet and maskmaking workshop on Saturday August 23rd starting at 3 pm.
The space was formerly the sculpture and design studio of long time PNWS members Dave Frei and Jennifer Corio and has been redesigned as a multi-purpose art space by Nathan LacQuaye. PNWS has reached out to Nathan to form a partnership that will give members access to a meeting space and classroom for workshops and other activities on the Vancouver side of the river.
Bring any art materials to trade, swap or give away with you and plan to participate in a maskmaking event that will culminate on August 30th and 31st at a raku demo at the PNWS booth at Art in the Pearl. A $20 donation to cover materials is requested for the workshop.
