April: IS Day, Art at the Cave and more

April 27th this year is International Sculpture Day, and PNWS members will be getting the celebration going a week early as we are scheduled to give artists talks on April 20th at 1:00 at The Cave Gallery, http://@artatthecave.com  for the PNWS show “Shapes That Speak”.

After the talks, members will walk through town to Ester Short Park (site of Vancouver’s Saturday Market) wearing sculptural outfits announcing our presence on the North side of the Columbia River. Members are encouraged to invent a wearable sculpture or use one from last year’s parade. Costume or not, come walk with us to celebrate our day!
