For our August monthly meeting we will return to the world of making miracles out of mud as we visit ceramic artist Linda Kliewer in her studio.
Each piece Linda creates is unique. Her work has been shown in exhibits and galleries all over the United States and is in private collections. Pieces are both wheel thrown and hand-built. She often begins on the wheel and finishes with coils to create off-center designs. Every piece features leaves, grasses, or flowers.
On Sunday, August 23, we will enjoy an afternoon of art, conversation, and connecting with fellow sculptors. Please bring:
- A dish or snack to share
- Your own plate and utensils if possible
- Extra chairs if you have them, to help ensure everyone has a seat.
You are also welcome to bring a friend who might be interested in PNWS.
