It would appear that PNWS will again have a presence at the other blockbuster summer Art Festival in our area. The Vancouver Art and Music festival is August 7-9 at Ester Short Park in downtown Vancouver. I will be running maskmaking workshops on Saturday and Sunday at 10 and 2, and we are looking for volunteers to step up and take shifts as demonstrators or sculptural ambassadors to fill out the ticket. Natily Partna (natplearn99@gmail.com) will be the contact person if you are interested in sharing your process through a demonstration with an adoring public. We are also looking for members who would like to make masks to sign up. I would like to keep the groups small (5-8). The masks we generate will be glazed and fired at Art in the Pearl in September.
