My work is about story telling. Narrative figurative sculpture is another term for it. I was born into a family of creatives. My family encouraged creative play and discovery and I thrived in it. They were Quakers, artists, and entrepreneurs. This laid a strong foundation for my artistic career. I studied studio fine arts at Ohio State and Kent State Universities focusing on ceramics and painting, winning multiple merit art scholarships at Kent State University. The emotive narrative power of art work is what motivates me. 

I offer ceramic sculpting classes and workshops at my studio.
