The need to create isn't just passion - it's a productive form of madness, a beautiful disorder that transforms every mistake into momentum. It's the kind of irrational determination that keeps you in the studio until dawn, convinced that this time, this piece, will capture the impossible thing you see in your mind.
I build worlds from paper and paste, chasing down the wild-eyed visions of my inner child. There's something beautifully defiant about using the simplest materials - flour, water and glue - to create something extraordinary. My sculptures grow from humble, mundane materials, discarded paper, cardboard, and scraps of wood and wire, all held together with screws, glues, and the kind of stubborn determination that only makes sense to creators.
I work primarily with paper-mâché, a simple, often underestimated medium. It's inexpensive, accessible to anyone, and requires no special tools or process. It's biodegradable, non-toxic, doesn’t stink, and easy to clean up. It’s also incredibly strong, flexible, durable, and complex.
