I view my art as both a hammer to shape the word and a mirror to reflect it.
I have been working with toys and games because they tell us a great deal about the society we live in. Children use them to learn the values of our culture and model adult behavior.
My assemblages juxtapose the naive innocence of childhood play with the complex dilemmas grownups face. By recombining elements of our pop culture in an artwork new connections and subliminal meanings are suddenly made obvious.
