I have been a west Coast ceramic sculptor, painter, poet, editor and arts organizer for many years along with wearing many other hats. I am now free to explore my art again unhindered by other circumstances. I tend to create narratives in whatever media I use. I particularly like ceramics since the medium is so grounding while also being freeing. I like to work with it rather than force it, although I have to admit some think I challenge what is usually done with it these days. I am very influenced by ancient art and am naturally a contemporary folk surrealist. I have shown my work up and down the West Coast and have had many international opportunities.
