We have so much to celebrate on IS Day 2025, with our participation in the Gathering of the Guilds, April 25-28, at the Oregon Convention Center.
For our annual IS Day Celebration, we will gather at 3pm on Saturday, April 26th, at the PNWS Gallery Exhibition, within the Gathering of the Guilds Show, with a Wearable Art Costume Party.
Over 30 if our members will be exhibiting their sculptures in the Gallery, several will have booths, and many will be giving demonstrations throughout the weekend. Our group will also be presenting a continuous slide show that will feature images from previous PNWS exhibits and events, sculpture works in process as well as finished works by our members.
Our IS Day event will double as a WEARABLE ART COSTUME PARTY! If you have a costume from a previous IS Day wearable sculpture IS Day event, or are inspired to make a new SCULPTURAL COSTUME, MASK, GLASSES or HAT, please wear it! We plan to spontaneously walk through the Gathering in our traditional IS Day PARADE fashion, and wish everyone a “Happy International Sculpture Day!”

Disclaimer…. Of course, we will need to keep our costumes within a reasonable radius, (to keep them from hitting anyone’s work in the show). But please do get lively in your approach to color and form so we can CELEBRATE SCULPTURE fully on IS Day!
If you don’t have a costume, come as you are!
Most importantly, we want to see each of YOU and honor what we each bring to the world in 3D, not only in this show, but throughout the year!
