Functional / decorative wall panels

The challenge is this:  The client has a beautiful, recently remodeled dining room…with a great big ugly electrical panel smack in the middle of the wall!  The solution: a carved wooden triptych spanning the wall, with one panel conveniently covering the electrical panel.  This yet-to-be-installed work was milled from maple cut on the client’s property, then joined (each panel is two boards) and carved before being rubbed with a wax-stain finish to create an aged look.  The three panels together form a representation of the coastal river valley where the client lives.  I can’t wait to get it installed so I can get some decent photos!
