Sculpture Community Committees
Committees are at the core our sculpture group. These form our connection and define how we deliver benefits to our sculptors and our broader audience of sculpture collectors.
Executive Committee – Chas Martin
We guide the basic business of our sculpture community and keep our focus on the annual goals and objectives of the group.
Finance – Bill Leigh
We plan and manage the financial responsibilities of our sculpture community from fund raising to project budgets to public sculpture events.
Call to Artists – Wade Womack
We glean and distribute a monthly list of “calls for artists” for our sculpture community to review and evaluate.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Alisa Looney
We research and engage in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training opportunities, apply for grant funding, and create connections with BIPOC and underrepresented artists from marginalized communities.
Materials and Equipment – Bill Leigh
We store and manage physical assets of our sculpture community from display stands to projection equipment.
Meetings –Bob Deasy
Our monthly meetings are the primary networking events of our sculpture community. We identify and organize these events to include the top sculptors throughout Oregon and Washington.
Membership – Sue Quast
Keeping accurate records on sculpture community members and their activities is an ongoing challenge. It is a team effort.
Newsletter – Open
Public Relations – Chas Martin
Communication with our larger audience is handled mostly through this web site. But sculpture shows by our group occasionally require a more focused promotional effort.
Shows – Position Open
We produce themed shows by our members. In a normal year, we will offer several events. This requires a lot of volunteer help and experience.
Social Media – Position Open
Connecting sculptors, students, buyers, admirers and anyone else interested in the accomplishments of our group is the primary function of our social media focus.
Volunteer Coordinator – Andy Kennedy
As an all volunteer organization loaded with diverse talents, the real challenge is focusing the right people on appropriate tasks where their talent will bring them the most reward and provide our sculptors with the greatest value.
Website – Dave Frei
The PNWS website is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers from our group. We are always looking for additional help. If you have WordPress experience or would be willing to author articles please contact the website chair.
