THE MAGIC LEAKY CANOE with Wasco Medicine Chief Ken Smith, live music by POCKET

Presented by Todji Kurtzman Sculpture: All ages:  Come join us on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM for a magical evening of sculpture, live music, and local history of the ancestral Native American ferry system as told by 92 year old Wasco Medicine Chief Ken Smith, sharing his wisdom, knowledge and stories. Todji Kurtzman will talk about his bronze sculpture public art proposal and children’s story for Boones Ferry Park, as one of three pending finalist sculptors. Featuring live music by Chico State music composition teacher David Dvorin and his touring band “Pocket” playing blues and jazz compositions to make an eclectic night of music, art and local ancestral history. We look forward to sharing this unique event with you; kids welcome!

Tickets: $20 and are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/todji-kurtzman-sculpture-115612958051
