Pacific Northwest Sculptors «Whidbey Island «Price Sculpture Forest «Trip Update 5-5-2025.
Hi Team Whidbey!
Thank you for responding with your confirmations about attending. Ten people have dropped out, which changes a few things. PLEASE READ this Update now!
Old Business:
- Trip Dates are Friday May 30 – Sunday June 1, 2025.
- Please remember to bring a bundle of wood or whatever dry wood you can get your hands on. Fri & Sat nights are campfire nights, and our Campfire Marshall, Shelly will need the wood & kindling.
- I saw your International Sculpture Day costumes on Facebook. Good work! Please bring your costumes for our Sunday noon parade at Price Sculpture Forest. Joe is Parade Marshall.
- Instruments are encouraged for our campfires and parade. Scott Price will let us know if instruments are welcome at the Saturday Dinner at his house or not.
New Business:
- This is your last update from me, although you can expect future updates from your Meal Captains.
- Jon and I leave for Whidbey Island on Friday May 23, so if you need me, you have 2 weeks to contact me!
- Ten attendees dropped out since the 3-20-2025 Trip Update, so Meal Team plans are being revised.
- We have 19 PNWS folks attending.
- Two of those bring their own special meals.
- Therefore, we have 17 PNWS attendees assigned to Meal Teams.
- Scott Price has invited about 15 local sculptors and artists to his house to meet us and hang out.
- Ami Davis is working with Scott to ensure there are enough main dishes, casseroles, and side dishes for our Saturday night dinner for 32 people at his house.
- (Ami’s team of 7 will not be required to cover all 32 people for the main meal.)
- Everybody stays on the same Meal Team except Sue Quast was moved from Saturday Brunch to Sunday Breakfast. (Marlene and Wayne, please note.)
- Meal Team Count:
- Sat Brunch Team= 5 people. (Marlene is Captain)
- Sat Dinner Team = 7 people. (Ami is Captain, and needs the most help because she and Scott’s team are feeding 32 people, not 17 people.)
- Sun Brunch Team = 5 people. (Wayne is Captain)
- I will coordinate the Group Camp reservation with Leslie. I made the reservation, but I am staying in a hotel. Therefore, I will meet up with Leslie & Brian to get us into the Group Camp on Friday, and hand off the camp responsibilities to her once we are in!
Price Sculpture Forest Links:
- If you haven’t yet, please download the Price Sculpture Forest app on Apple Store or Google Play now. You will need this app to see the 4 augmented reality sculptures, which is a super fun part of the experience. (You can do it there, but why not be prepared?) Here are the links:

Cheers, Teri
