2025 SPRING CAMPING TRIP – PRICE SCULPTURE FOREST

Mark your calendars for May 30-June 1, because the Group Camp has been booked!

If you attended our May 2024 Spring Camping Trip to Maryhill Museum, then you know how much fun we had. If you didn’t, I hope you heard all about it. (Ask around… it was a blast!)

Announcing our 2025 Spring Camping Trip to PRICE SCULPTURE FOREST on WHIDBEY ISLAND. Today we booked the Group Camp at Fort Ebey State Park. Hurray, we can have a big campfire in 2025!

This is what you need to know to mark space in your calendar now:

WHEN: Friday May 30 to Sunday June 1st. This is the weekend after Memorial Day weekend, but before Troutdale Art Festival.
TIME: Check-in is Friday at 2:30 PM, and Check-out is Sunday at 1:00 PM.
WHERE: Fort Ebey State Park on Whidbey Island.
WHAT: Camping at Vista Group Camp. This is a primitive group campsite with no electricity. Tents are allowed in the large grass area or designated tent pads. More info below.
TOUR: Scott Price, a former PNWS Board Member and the founder of Price Sculpture Garden will likely give us a private tour. There is a rumor of a potluck at his house on Saturday night.
MEALS: This will be similar to last year’s trip, with Meal Teams again. I will try to coordinate the Meal Captains better this year, so you all can coordinate your skillets and equipment better.
NON-MEMBERS: Please join PNWS to ensure your spot on this popular annual event!

RV or TRAILER Camping:
There is a tiny space for 2 campers or trailers, which must be 18 feet long or less. If you have a longer camper or want electricity, you’ll want to book a separate campsite here: https://washington.goingtocamp.com/create-booking/results?resourceLocationId=-2147483616&mapId=-2147483598&searchTabGroupId=0&bookingCategoryId=0&startDate=2025-05-30&endDate=2025-06-01&nights=2&isReserving=true&equipmentId=-32768&subEquipmentId=-32764&partySize=1&filterData=%7B%7D&searchTime=2024-08-30T11:57:52.075&flexibleSearch=%5Bfalse,false,%222024-08-01%22,1%5D
