Any members who missed our January Animal Spirit maskmaking workshop, will have a couple of options to participate again in May and June. Troutdale- I am teaching the sculpture maskmaking class on Saturday, May 27th at the Troutdale Art Center from 1-4. The masks created will be glazed by participants and fired by my neighbor and Raku expert Nathan, the following week on June 3rd as part of the Troutdale Art Festival’s festivities. I will be teaching the maskmaking workshop on Saturday, June 3 (the same day that Nathan will be firing masks in Troutdale) at the Newport Art Center. Final arrangements are being made for firing times on the 3rd.
