Ava Bock is a sculptor working in resin, urethane, and acrylic to create abstract forms rooted in tension, stillness, and internal reflection. Originally from New York, she began her art practice in photography before transitioning into sculpture to create more tactile, immersive works. Her process draws from both analog and industrial methods, with an emphasis on layering, casting, and suspended materials.
Ava holds a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and an AFA in Visual Arts from Cape Fear Community College. Her work has been featured in both domestic and international publications, including GET INSPIRED and New Visionary magazines.
Now based in Oregon, she continues to explore material memory and the physical expression of unseen experiences through small-format sculptures, wall reliefs, and installation-based works.
