Spring Field Trip Survey – Please fill out now if you are planning to go!

Hi PNWS Members –

Please fill out this 2025 Price Sculpture Forest/Whidbey Island Trip survey, if you are planning on attending the event,  so I know your interest, and whether you will tent camp, trailer camp, or hotel. (You only need to fill out the survey once.) Link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3766J5V

Your promptness is recommended, as Whidbey Island is a prime vacation destination for Seattle, and with this trip happening the weekend after Memorial Day, we don’t want to miss our opportunities!

Trip Dates: May 30-June 1, 2025

More info from the survey:

Whidbey Island & Price Sculpture Forest trip interest survey (Jan 17 deadline)

Trip Dates: Friday-Sunday May 30-June 1, 2025
Survey Deadline: Friday January 17, 2025 (asap please)
Survey to gauge member interest in our 2025 member spring camp out on Whidbey Island, with group tour of Price Sculpture Forest, group meals, Saturday evening potluck at Scott Price‘s house, and a whimsical costume parade through Price Sculpture Forest on Sunday after departing Fort Ebey group camp, and before heading home. Plus other fun and shenanigans.
We have reserved the Group Campsite at Fort Ebey State Park. Cost will depend on how many people attend, so final cost is not available yet, but it will be very reasonable.
This inquiry email is designed to answer 4 main questions:
1. Are you interested in attending this trip?
2. Is your interest level low, medium, high or very high?
3. Will you camp or stay in a hotel?
4. If camping, will you stay in a tent or in a camper/trailer? (NOTE: There are only 2 trailer sites in our group camp, so I need to know your answer, as you may need to find trailer camping outside the group camp, and I may be able to help you!)
Please answer this survey by Friday January 17th (asap please), if you are at all interested, even a little. After this email, only members who have expressed an interest will be included in planning emails. All other PNWS members will be dropped from future emails.
Please note:
* All attendees will be involved in group meals, campfires, potlucks, the private tour of Price Sculpture Forest, and all other PNWS activities, REGARDLESS of whether you are in our group camp or staying somewhere else.
* All attendees will be assessed and billed for a portion of the cost of the Group Camp. Group Campers will pay more than the hotel people. I will make it very fair.
* If you didn’t attend last year, you will definitely want to pay extra attention to any communication with your Meal Captain. Our group meals are the absolute most fun! Please fill out this survey now:
